Cyclect Energy Pte Ltd (‘CYCLECT’), has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with PT. Berkat Manunggal Jaya (‘BMJ’) on a global collaboration for packaged power generating sets (‘genset’) and heat recovery solutions, witnessed by Minister of State Mr. Teo Ser Luck. This MOU marks a milestone in Cyclect’s heat recovery solution development by collaborating directly with an engine manufacturer and OEM. This collaboration will develop more efficient cogeneration and heat recovery products and packaged genset solutions. The products and solutions, together with the strong servicing and maintenance support structure from both companies will allow for a greater global market reach.
Over 1.2 billion people or 20% of the world’s population still do not have access to electricity, with 51% of these people in developing Asia. This collaboration aims to bring more affordable power to the world through increased efficiency in energy usage.
Mr. Teo Ser Luck said “Indonesia continues to be a key economic partner for Singapore. Its promising long term growth prospects, large market size, young labour force, and rising affluence of the middle class make Indonesia an attractive investment destination. Through this business mission, I hope more Singapore SMEs will seize these growth opportunities to build on existing ties and forge new partnerships with Indonesian businesses. We also look forward to working closely with the new Indonesian Administration to strength our economic engagement in mutually beneficial areas.”
